Because of all the multi-camera work I do I have been searching, for years, for a simple color matching solution. How does it work?
Select Hawaiki AutoMatch from your Effects Browser and apply to your chosen clip(s) or use the Title (overlay) version for global grading of multiple clips.
Select a color from your Reference shot that you want to match to.
Select a similar area in the shot you want to correct, your Destination shot.
Hit Enable to see the instant result.
Use the Amount slider to adjust the correction, if desired.
Usually that's all you will ever need to do, but if you want to dive in and make more complex adjustments to the match, there are plenty of powerful and easy-to-use controls to get some amazing results.
Besides Secondary Color Matching and a great deal more, you'll also find a really sophisticated Auto Levels section, as well as a complete set of manual color grading tools, making this an incredibly complete and versatile color grading solution.
